Damian J. Penny is a lawyer with Bedford Law in Bedford, Nova Scotia. Family Law makes up the bulk of his practice.
Penny is a native of Mt. Pearl, Newfoundland. After earning a Bachelor of Arts (major: Political Science) from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1995, Penny studied law at the University of New Brunswick, graduating in 1998.
He was called to the Bar of Newfoundland and Labrador in 1999, and practiced in St. John’s and Corner Brook until 2007, when he became a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society. Mr. Penny remains a non-practising member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.

He lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with his wife and sons.

Back in 1998(ish), when I first found out about the web, I started reading blogs and I think that yours was the first. I am happy to rediscover that you are blogging. Stay happy and try to find the time to let us have your opinions on events in the Americas. Over here in the “old world” things are going to hell in a hand basket and in the eastern world life is still cheap. As people are given more and more rights they forget about their obligations.
