“Hitler is an easy scapegoat throughout history”

Just to be clear, I don’t have a problem with looking at Adolf Hitler “in context.” My problem is with Oliver Stone trying to put Hitler – or any historical figure or event – “in context.”

  1. Yes, the problem isn’t necessarily the message, its the messenger. The man is simply incapable of subtlety. Watching any one of his films is like getting hit with a sledgehammer every few minutes. And, hey, lets call a main character after a lizard (Gekko) while attacking capitalism.
    At least Michael Moore admits to his fiction…
