Johnson helpfully provides some background in an update:
this just happened to be the
demonstration at which tea partiers
yelled the “N” word at
Representatives Lewis and Emanuel,
and spit at Rep. Emanuel.
Rep. Emanuel has changed his story about being spit on and no one has produced video of the “N” word being used despite the presence of video cameras on both sides. Breitbart is offering a $100,000 reward for any such video proof.
The LGF comments suggest this perception: the photo resolution makes the stars look so huge they appear to be background, and the blue field a pattern within it.
But if you watch the video from which the still was taken, I don’t see how you can get that impression. The flag is visible near the end, and at about 3:20 is carried from right to left. It clearly looks like white stars on a blue field, at least to me.
